Katsina Governor Radda Executes N30bn Projects Without Loans

Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda revealed that his administration has successfully executed development projects exceeding N30 billion without resorting to borrowing. This achievement coincides with the consistent payment of salaries and pensions.

Radda made this announcement during the Tinubu/Dikko Assured (TDA) 2027 Islamiyya Teachers’ Empowerment event and the virtual inauguration of 45 solar streetlights at the Continental Events and Sports Complex in Katsina. He attributed the state's financial success to reforms by President Bola Tinubu, which have enhanced the capacity of states to fulfill their development agendas.

Radda asserted that no loans were taken for any projects in Katsina State and emphasized the importance of fulfilling promises made to the populace. He called on organizations and philanthropists to assist in addressing community development needs.

Former governor Aminu Bello Masari criticized those who overlook the achievements of the state and federal governments, while Umar Ahmed Zayyad, Director-General of Tinubu/Dikko Assured, reiterated the administration's commitment to development.
