Radda Engages Katsina Citizens for 2027 Budget Planning

Dikko Umaru Radda, the Governor of Katsina State, conducted town hall meetings across 361 wards on a Saturday to solicit citizen input for the 2027 budget planning. The initiative aimed to deepen citizen participation in the budget process, ensuring that public resources are directed toward projects that reflect the genuine priorities of the community.

Radda expressed his administration's unwavering commitment to inclusive governance and transparency, stating that the participatory budget process would help build trust between the government and citizens. He noted that the exercise would provide invaluable information to guide the preparation of the 2027 fiscal year budget.

Radda highlighted significant progress made in infrastructure, agriculture, healthcare, education, water supply, security, youth empowerment, and social protection from the previous year's budget. He assured citizens that the government would continue to listen to their needs and promised ongoing consultations regardless of political affiliation, gender, religion, or social status.
