PDP's Issa Rejects Collaboration with Tinubu

Abubakar Issa, the North Central Zonal Legal Adviser of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), has expressed strong opposition to the idea of the party working with President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming elections. In an interview, Issa criticized the reconciliation efforts initiated by Nyesom Wike, who has been a prominent figure in the factional disputes within the PDP.

Issa described Wike's open support for a rival presidential candidate during the last general elections as a betrayal of the party. He emphasized that any attempts at reconciliation must first address the issues undermining the party's internal discipline and credibility.

Issa's comments reflect the ongoing internal crisis within the PDP, particularly regarding the alignment of factions and the party's future direction.
