Nigeria Police Sets Dates for Recruitment Aptitude Test

The Nigeria Police Force has officially announced the dates for the computer-based aptitude test (CBT) as part of its ongoing recruitment exercise. The tests are scheduled to occur from April 28 to April 30, 2026, across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

This announcement was made by Ahmad Rufa, the Public Relations Officer of the Sokoto State Police Command. Rufa described the CBT as a key stage in the recruitment process, designed to ensure that only qualified candidates are selected.

The duration of the test will vary by state, depending on the number of applicants and the availability of CBT centers. The exercise is expected to be completed within three days, with flexibility to accommodate operational realities across the states.

Rufa urged applicants to remain calm and await official communication regarding venue allocations, emphasizing the importance of relying on verified information from approved channels to avoid misinformation.
