PSC Schedules Police Constable Exam for April 2026

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has announced that it will conduct a written examination for the recruitment of police constables from April 28 to April 30, 2026. This examination will take place at designated centers across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

Candidates who successfully pass the physical screening will be eligible to sit for the examination. The PSC has advised qualified applicants to log into the recruitment portal by April 24, 2026, to print their examination invitation cards, which will contain specific details regarding the date, time, and venue of the test.

Additionally, candidates are required to bring certain items to the examination center, including a pen, a national identification number slip, a clear photograph, and the printed examination invitation card. The PSC has reiterated that the recruitment process is entirely free and has warned against job scams, urging applicants to rely on official communication channels for updates.
