Kano Police Recruitment Exams Set for April 2026

The Kano State Police Command has officially announced that the written examination for the recruitment of police constables will take place from April 28 to April 30, 2026. This announcement was made on April 25, 2026, in collaboration with the Police Service Commission and the Nigeria Police Force.

The exams will be conducted nationwide across designated centers in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, with the Kano State examination set to occur at the North West University main campus along Muhammadu Buhari Way. Candidates who successfully pass the physical credential screening will be eligible to sit for the examination.

They are required to log into the official recruitment portal by April 24, 2026, to print their examination invitation cards, which will specify the test date, time, and venue. Applicants must bring their National Identification Number (NIN) slip with a clear photograph and adhere to a prescribed dress code.

The commission emphasized that the recruitment process is free of charge and warned against job racketeering. Kano State Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, urged candidates to comply with instructions and maintain order during the examination period.
