Gov Kefas Advocates Unity and Peace in Taraba State

On Saturday, Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State called on residents to maintain unity and peaceful coexistence, regardless of religious, ethnic, or political differences. This appeal was made during a one-day summit organized by the Office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Muslim Religious Matters, Hussaini Ismail.

The summit gathered Islamic organizations, religious leaders, scholars, and community stakeholders to discuss peace, unity, good governance, and sustainable development in Taraba State. Governor Kefas warned against divisive attempts along religious or ethnic lines, emphasizing that the state belongs to all its citizens.

He reiterated his administration's commitment to good governance and urged residents to support initiatives aimed at fostering a peaceful and united Taraba. Participants praised the administration's efforts in education and peacebuilding.

Hussaini Ismail also encouraged Tarabans to reject tribalism and political division, commending the governor for his support of Islamic education and religious institutions, which have advanced learning in the state.
