Taraba Governor Urges APC Unity and Humility Post-Elections

On Tuesday, Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State addressed members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during a reconciliation dinner in Jalingo. He urged candidates and party members to demonstrate humility and avoid arrogance following electoral victories.

Kefas acknowledged the dissatisfaction among members regarding the outcomes of the party's congress and primary elections, which led to some members defecting to the People's Democratic Party (PDP). He expressed regret over the misunderstandings that arose during the political processes and emphasized the importance of unity within the party.

Kefas called for members to set aside grievances and work collaboratively towards future electoral contests. He stressed that political contests should not create permanent enemies and urged members to focus on improving the lives of citizens through better security, education, healthcare, and infrastructure.

The governor committed to fostering ongoing dialogue and inclusivity within the party, aiming to rebuild trust and strengthen the APC in Taraba State.
