Remi Tinubu Empowers 800 Women in Kogi State Visit

On Saturday, Remi Tinubu, the wife of President Bola Tinubu, empowered 800 women during her visit to Kogi State. She inaugurated two public projects: the Kogi Treasury House and a primary healthcare center in Lokongoma, Lokoja.

During the inauguration, she described these projects as significant investments aimed at improving public service delivery and enhancing residents' welfare. Tinubu commended Kogi State Governor Ahmadu Usman Ododo for prioritizing healthcare infrastructure and emphasized the necessity of quality healthcare for national development.

She launched a distribution program to empower the 800 women, aiming to promote self-reliance, strengthen household income, and create economic opportunities for vulnerable groups. Tinubu urged beneficiaries to utilize the support to expand their businesses and improve their livelihoods.

She also acknowledged the efforts of Hajia Sefinat Ododo, the wife of the Kogi State governor, in enhancing the welfare of women and vulnerable individuals in the state. Governor Ododo expressed gratitude for Tinubu's visit and support for his administration's initiatives.
