Oluremi Tinubu Receives Ugo Eze Anambra Title

On Thursday, Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of Nigeria, received the traditional title of Ugo Eze Anambra, meaning "the glory of the king" or "a Royal Eagle," from the Chairman of the Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council, Igwe Chidubem Iweka. This honor was bestowed upon her during a one-day working visit to Anambra State, where she launched the National Community Food Bank Programme for the South-East Zone and commissioned an ICT centre at the Federal Polytechnic, Oko.

The event took place at the Dr Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka. Tinubu also attended the flag-off of a statewide empowerment programme led by Nonye Soludo, the wife of the Anambra State Governor, which aims to provide business grants and vocational tools to 5,000 beneficiaries across the state's 21 local government areas.

Iweka praised Tinubu for her compassionate works and her support for President Bola Tinubu's administration. In her response, Tinubu expressed gratitude for the honor.

Notably, this title followed another traditional title she received in Imo State the previous day.
