Aregbesola Calls Tinubu's Agenda a Scam, Demands Resignation

Rauf Aregbesola, the former Minister of Interior and Osun State Governor, launched a strong critique against President Bola Tinubu's administration, labeling the "Renewed Hope Agenda" as a classic scam. Speaking at the African Democratic Congress (ADC) national convention in Abuja on Tuesday, Aregbesola called for Tinubu's resignation, citing the deteriorating security situation and economic hardships faced by Nigerians.

He accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) government of mismanaging the economy, failing to fulfill promises, and allowing the naira to depreciate significantly. Aregbesola highlighted the surge in fuel prices and the severe strain it has placed on citizens.

He condemned the administration's handling of electricity supply, noting that many parts of the country receive only a few hours of power daily. Aregbesola warned that the current political climate complicates the situation and urged Nigerians to support the ADC in reclaiming the country from what he described as a strangling grip of the ruling party.
