Reps Summon FRSC Over N400m Fraud Allegation

The House of Representatives Ad-hoc Committee summoned the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) following allegations from Gbenga Collins, Managing Director of Divine Dopacy Nigeria Limited. Collins testified that he paid N400 million to Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, the alleged Director-General of the Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council (PFIPC), for a contract to renovate the PFIPC's official residence.

Collins met Adeyemi in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, in December 2024 and was later invited to Abuja in early 2025, where he was convinced of Adeyemi's legitimacy due to the presence of government officials and an official vehicle. Collins made payments in five instalments between May and July 2025 into accounts belonging to World Entrepreneurs Limited and Sunshine Confectionery and Catering Services.

Despite assurances, no contract mobilization occurred, leading Collins to consult a lawyer and file a petition with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), which is now investigating the matter.
