Kwara Residents Block Road in Protest Against Rising Banditry and Abductions

Residents of Eleyin in Kwara State blocked a major road to protest escalating banditry and insecurity in the area. Gunmen, suspected to be terrorists, recently abducted seven people, including three children, from the community.

Despite a ransom payment of N20 million, the victims have not been released, causing fear and tension in the region. The protesters demanded urgent government intervention to rescue the captives and restore safety.
