NCDMB and AFN Empower 50 Youths with Technical Skills

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) partnered with AFN Global Services Limited to empower 50 youths with digital and technical skills in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The training program, which took place from June 29 to July 10, 2026, focused on the installation and maintenance of DSTV, CCTV cameras, and Starlink systems.

Participants engaged in both classroom instruction and practical sessions, enhancing their skills in fault diagnosis, cable management, and signal optimization to meet the growing demand for skilled technicians in Nigeria. During the closing ceremony, Mr. Francess Anieme, the Managing Director of AFN Global Services Limited, commended the beneficiaries for their dedication throughout the program and urged them to apply their acquired skills to establish sustainable careers and businesses.

Each of the 50 beneficiaries received a starter tool kit, expressing appreciation for the opportunity to enhance their marketable skills and improve technical service delivery in Rivers State.
