Rivers Police Command Appoints New PPRO Agab Kaborlo

The Rivers State Police Command has announced the appointment of Agab Kaborlo as the new Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), effective from a statement released on Friday, signed by the outgoing spokesperson, Grace Iring Koko. The appointment was approved by the Inspector General of Police, Olaitan Rilwan Disu.

Agab Kaborlo is an indigene of Rivers State, specifically from the Ogoni area in Tai Local Government. She is an Assistant Superintendent of Police and has completed a five-year training program at the Nigeria Police Academy.

Kaborlo holds a Bachelor of Law degree and a Master of Law degree from Rivers State University. She has undergone several professional courses, including combat operations, counter-terrorism training, and a citizenship leadership program.

Throughout her career, she has served in various capacities within the Nigeria Police Force, including at the Okporo Division Police Station and the Human Rights Section of the Police Public Relations Office. The command expressed confidence in her ability to improve community relations and ensure transparency.
