Wike Promises Rainbow Coalition Eight-Year Rule in Rivers

Nyesom Wike, a prominent political figure in Rivers State, addressed members of Siminilayi Fubara's camp, asserting that the Rainbow Coalition will govern for eight years. Speaking at a luncheon in Port Harcourt, Wike emphasized the coalition's strength and urged politicians to unite under its banner.

He expressed confidence that the coalition would secure victory in the 2027 governorship election, stating that discussions regarding the upcoming elections have already begun. Wike also mentioned that he has forgiven all political opponents in the state, indicating a desire for reconciliation and unity within the political landscape.

He dismissed any notions that the coalition would not succeed, asserting that they would remain vigilant and prepared for any challenges ahead.
