Rotary Club Hosts 14th Einstein Science Challenge in Rivers

The Rotary Club Port Harcourt GRA organized the 14th season of the Einstein Science Challenge, which awarded a total of N1 million and tablets to the top ten finalists. The winners received cash prizes of N500,000, N300,000, and N200,000, respectively. Kelechi Ez, the Secretary of Rotary District 9142, praised the club for sustaining the challenge over the past 14 years, highlighting the importance of such initiatives in fostering future leaders and innovators. District Governor-elect Dr. Anthony Olikagu expressed satisfaction with the increased participation of female students in the competition, emphasizing that science and technology should not be exclusive to men. Dr. Patterson Ogon, President of the Rotary Club Port Harcourt GRA, noted the challenge's role in encouraging young minds to consider various options for addressing societal issues, particularly in environmental sustainability. The competition began with 252 participants, narrowing down through a series of tests to the final ten.
