Ruben Dias Signs New Manchester City Contract

Manchester City's Ruben Dias has signed a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2029, with an option for an additional 12 months. Since joining from Benfica in 2020 for £62 million, Dias has been a crucial player in Pep Guardiola's defense, helping the team secure multiple titles.

Dias expressed his commitment to the club, while City's director of football, Hugo Viana, praised his influence on and off the pitch. The new deal comes as other key players like John Stones, Bernardo Silva, and Ederson have less than a year left on their contracts.

City is also reportedly close to securing new deals for Rodri, Phil Foden, Manuel Akanji, Nathan Ake, and academy graduate Rico Lewis.
