Sanwo-Olu Assures Safety of Lagos-Badagry Bridge

On Saturday, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu inspected a vandalized section of a bridge along the Lagos-Badagry Expressway, located at Vin-Niger in the Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area. He assured motorists and residents that the bridge remains structurally sound despite the removal of some fittings by vandals.

Sanwo-Olu stated that the inspection was crucial to assess the bridge's condition and warned that the government would pursue individuals responsible for the vandalism and those involved in the trade of stolen materials. He highlighted the importance of community vigilance, urging residents to report suspicious activities.

Additionally, he expressed concerns over vandalism in FESTAC town, where drainage slabs were destroyed. Sanwo-Olu commended various security agencies for their response and reiterated the government's commitment to protecting public infrastructure while encouraging community participation in safeguarding these assets.
