Saraki Strengthens PDP Structure in Kwara for 2027 Elections

Former Senate President Bukola Saraki is actively working to consolidate the structure of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State in preparation for the 2027 general elections. Last week, Saraki hosted a meeting with party leaders and stakeholders from various wards across Ilorin West and Ilorin East local government areas, coinciding with the iftar during the Maghrib prayer.

The meeting aimed to strengthen grassroots structures and boost voter registration, emphasizing the importance of coordinated voter mobilization for electoral success. Saraki assured his commitment to enhancing the party's grassroots network and engaged with former councillors and local government chairpersons to promote unity within the party.

Additionally, he met with young women in Ilorin South to highlight the significance of youth and women's participation in party leadership. Saraki's outreach also includes humanitarian efforts, such as providing food support to elderly women in Ilorin, as part of his community engagement initiatives.
