Nguroje Calls for Peace Amid Sardauna Local Government Unrest

Honourable Babangida Nguroje, the former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives and Garkuwan Sardauna, called for caution and restraint amid the unrest in Sardauna Local Government Area of Taraba State. He urged all parties involved to allow law enforcement agencies to restore peace and commended the traditional institutions for their ongoing efforts in promoting harmony.

Nguroje emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and unity in Sardauna and Taraba, stating that violence disrupts development and creates disunity. He described the unrest as unfortunate and encouraged dialogue and tolerance among community members.

He expressed sadness over the inability to resolve disagreements peacefully and urged residents of Mbamnga, Mbara, and Geroji to pursue reconciliation. Nguroje also praised Governor Kefas Agbu for his commitment to sustaining peace in the state and extended condolences to the families of those affected by the unrest.
