Adebayo Urges SDP Members to Mobilize for 2027 Elections

At the Social Democratic Party (SDP) national convention in Abuja, Prince Adewole Adebayo, the party's presidential candidate, called on party chieftains to mobilize Nigerians for the upcoming 2027 general elections. He emphasized the need for a door-to-door campaign, stating that citizens are tired of problems and excuses and are eager for change.

Adebayo highlighted that Nigerians are not inherently poor due to the country's abundant mineral resources and urged party leaders to actively engage with communities. He expressed a vision where future generations would remember their efforts positively.

Additionally, Prof Sadiq Umar Abubakar Gombe, the National Chairman of SDP, articulated that political power should be viewed as a sacred responsibility aimed at transforming society and restoring hope. He outlined the party's commitment to security, productive employment, social justice, and accountable governance, stressing the importance of moving from consultation to mobilization.
