Gwagwalada Chairman Kashim Moham Sets New Agenda

Kashim Moham was inaugurated as the Chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council on Monday, where he outlined his administration's priorities, including security, infrastructure, and healthcare. During the ceremony, he expressed gratitude to the Almighty God and the residents for their confidence.

Moham disclosed that his administration inherited the highest debt profile in the council's history from the outgoing administration. He emphasized that his team would not use this challenge as an excuse for failure but would focus on improving revenue, cutting waste, and seeking strategic partnerships to attract investments.

His administration's seven-point agenda aims to promote peace, progress, and prosperity in the area. Plans include institutionalizing monthly peace and security committee meetings, addressing rural road conditions, rehabilitating primary healthcare centers, and introducing scholarship schemes for outstanding indigenous students.

Additionally, he pledged to support youth development through vocational training programs and the rehabilitation of public primary schools.
