Simon Ekpa’s Arrest Brings Relative Peace to Southeast – General Christopher Musa

The arrest of Simon Ekpa has reportedly brought relative peace to the Southeast region, according to Chief Defence Staff General Christopher Musa. Ekpa, an agitator based in Finland, has been detained since November 2024, leading to improved security in the area.

General Musa highlighted ongoing military operations to dismantle Ekpa's network across several states in the region. He also praised the recent capture of an Ansaru terrorist commander, attributing the success to the collaboration between the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
