Simon Ekpa Still Facing Trial In Finland – Christopher Musa

Simon Ekpa is still facing trial in Finland, as reported by Christopher Musa on Channels Television's Politics Today program. Musa stated that Ekpa's arrest has led to a relative improvement in security, with the military conducting operations to apprehend his associates across five states.

The Chief of Defence Staff mentioned that troops are actively targeting Ekpa's lieutenant in Imo, Enugu, Anambra, Ebonyi, and Abia states. General Musa highlighted the recent capture of an Ansaru terrorist commander as a significant achievement, attributing it to detailed planning and synergy among the Army, Navy, and Air Force.

He emphasized the need for collaboration to combat terrorism and insurgency effectively, noting that Nigeria will host the African Chiefs of Defence Staff conference to strengthen continental security cooperation.
