The match was delayed and resumed at 3:00 PM local time after rain, with Sinner winning the decisive games swiftly. Sinner will now face Casper Ruud, who previously defeated Luciano Darderi 6-1, 6-1.

Ruud has not won a single set against Sinner in their last four encounters. Additionally, Coco Gauff is set to compete against Elina Svitolina in the women's final, aiming to improve upon her performance from last year's final.
