Sir Ademola Adetula, Veteran Journalist, Passes Away at 74

Sir Ademola Adetula, a distinguished journalist and media administrator, died at the age of 74. He was recognized for his significant contributions to journalism, characterized by a commitment to integrity and balanced reporting.

Adetula was made a 'Sir' through his induction into the Knights of Saint John International (KSJI) and was also honored as a Member of the Federal Republic (MFR). His career included a notable tenure at Kwara State-owned Herald Newspapers, where he emphasized the importance of credible sources and balanced storytelling.

After retiring from Herald Newspapers, he joined Ondo State-owned Owena Press Limited in 1995 as Editor of THE HOPE Newspapers. His legacy is remembered fondly by colleagues who appreciated his professional standards and mentorship.
