Sir Alex Ferguson, the 84-year-old legendary former manager of Manchester United FC, was hospitalized on Sunday after feeling unwell ahead of the club's Premier League fixture against Liverpool FC. Reports indicate that he left Old Trafford about an hour before the match for a hospital visit, which was described as a precautionary measure.

Despite concerns regarding this sudden development, it is expected that Ferguson will recover soon. He has been a regular presence at Manchester United matches since undergoing emergency surgery in 2018 for a life-threatening brain hemorrhage, from which he made a full recovery.

The latest incident does not appear to be related to any personal challenges he has faced in recent years, including the death of his wife, Lady Cathy Ferguson, in 2023. Although his formal role at the club has changed following the arrival of INEOS and Jim Ratcliffe, Ferguson continues to maintain a close tie with Manchester United.
