ADC Condemns INEC for Delisting National Leaders

The Sokoto State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has expressed deep concern regarding the Independent National Electoral Commission's (INEC) recent decision to delist the party's national leadership. In a press release made available to newsmen, the Sokoto State chairman, Alhaji Bello Kigal, described the decision as undermining democracy and the constitutional rights of political parties in Nigeria.

The ADC views this development as a troubling step that could weaken public confidence in the electoral process and create unnecessary tension among party members. Kigal emphasized that the ADC is committed to abiding by the law and is considering potential actions against what they perceive as sabotage that could interfere with the affairs of political parties.

The party has called on INEC to maintain strict neutrality as required by law and to respect due process, allowing the courts to fairly determine any leadership disputes.
