Sokoto State Allocates ₦9 Million After Kebbe Attack

Following a deadly attack in Kebbe Local Government Area, the Sokoto State Government, led by Governor Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, has committed to intensifying efforts against terrorism and criminal activities. The government allocated ₦9 million to assist families who lost loved ones and those injured in the attack.

A delegation, headed by Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Prof. Jabir Sani Maihulla, visited affected communities to deliver financial and food assistance. Families of eight victims received ₦1 million each, totaling ₦8 million, along with five bags of food items.

Four injured victims were given ₦250,000 each, amounting to ₦1 million, and three bags each of rice, millet, and maize. Maihulla expressed condolences and emphasized the government's commitment to providing resources to security agencies to combat ongoing security challenges.

The Executive Chairman of Kebbe Local Government Council, Hon. Musa Garba Kuchi, and other local leaders praised the government's timely intervention and support during this difficult period.
