Dasuki Condemns Kebbe Attack, Urges Enhanced Security

Rep Abdussamad Dasuki, the Deputy Minority Leader of the Federal House of Representatives and representative for Kebbe/Tambuwal Federal Constituency, condemned the attack on Kebbe town and surrounding villages in Sokoto State on Friday morning. The attack led to the deaths of four military officers and several civilians.

Dasuki reported that the assailants arrived in large numbers and moved freely, taking mobile phones, food items, and petrol. He emphasized that protecting lives and property is his foremost priority as a representative.

Dasuki noted that insecurity has created a climate of fear in Sokoto, particularly affecting farming and cattle rearing, which are vital to the local economy. He urged all levels of government to implement more proactive security measures, including deploying and equipping troops with modern weapons.

Dasuki expressed condolences to the families of the victims and the affected communities, praying for the deceased and their families.
