Sokoto PDP Chieftain Abdallah Wali Resigns After 25 Years in Party

Abdallah Wali, a prominent figure in Sokoto's PDP, has resigned from the party after a long association of 25 years. In a letter dated December 31, 2025, addressed to the PDP ward chairman in Tambuwal LGA, Wali expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the party and the country.

His resignation, effective immediately, did not disclose his next political move. This move follows the recent resignation of former Senator Gilbert Nnaji, citing difficulties reconciling the party's decisions with the nation's development.
