South-East Town Hall Meeting Focuses on Regional Development

Political stakeholders and advocacy groups from the South East region convened in Awka, Anambra State, for the inaugural zonal town hall meeting organized by the pro-advocacy group, Relax, Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria. The event took place at the International Convention Centre and included delegates from Anambra, Imo, Ebonyi, Abia, and Enugu states.

Mr. Eleojo Obaje Audu, the National Secretary, expressed gratitude to the people of Anambra for their participation. Chief Engr. JohnBosco Onunkwo, the South East Zonal Coordinator, discussed key socio-economic projects initiated by the current administration, including infrastructure development, worker welfare adjustments, and educational access programs like the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).

He emphasized the establishment of the South East Development Commission (SEDC) as vital for enhancing the region's industrial potential. Dr. Mrs. Farida Deborah Ibrahim, National Director on Townhall and Special Duties, highlighted the importance of regional stability and federal partnerships.

The meeting was attended by various executive officers from the organization.
