South Korea Lists 42 Nations for Smart Entry Gate Access

The South Korean government has published a complete list of 42 countries whose nationals are eligible to utilize Smart Entry Gates upon arrival in South Korea. This automated system enhances border crossing efficiency by using biometrics and digital verification, eliminating the need for manual document checks.

The list includes nations such as Germany, Japan, France, and Canada, among others. However, it notably excludes any African nations, meaning travelers from Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, and others will not qualify for this expedited entry and will have to undergo standard manual border processing.

The announcement reflects South Korea's ongoing efforts to streamline immigration processes while highlighting the lack of representation for African countries in this initiative.
