Southern Kaduna Coalition Disavows Pro-El-Rufa’i Rally

The Southern Kaduna Coalition publicly distanced itself from a pro-El-Rufa’i rally held in Kafanchan, asserting that the protest did not authentically represent the people of Southern Kaduna. The coalition, led by Chairman Jehu Dogo Najib, criticized the rally as a politically motivated stunt orchestrated by forces aligned with the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to create unrest.

They affirmed their commitment to peaceful protest as a constitutional right while rejecting any attempts to manipulate public sentiment for political gain. The coalition expressed full support for ongoing investigations into former Governor Malam Nasir El-Rufa’i by relevant security and anti-graft agencies, emphasizing that no individual is above the law.

They acknowledged the leadership of current Governor Uba Sani, highlighting his efforts to restore dignity and balance across Kaduna State, particularly in infrastructure and human capital development.
