Sowore and Bashir Ahmad Condemn Terrorist Attack Killing 162 Residents in Kwara

Activist Omoyele Sowore and former aide to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, Bashir Ahmad, have strongly condemned the killing of at least 162 residents in the Woro community of Kaiama Local Government Area in Kwara State by a terrorist group. Sowore alleged that the security agencies failed to respond to distress calls and provide protection despite prior warnings, leaving the community vulnerable to the attack.

The Kwara State government confirmed the attack and reported the death toll. In response, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ordered the deployment of military personnel to the affected area.

Both Sowore and Ahmad expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident and called for justice to be served.
