Orion and Leon FC Crowned Champions in Ikorodu Tournament

The Spires 5-Aside Naija Street Soccer Tournament concluded in Ikorodu, with Orion and Leon Football Club emerging as champions after a decisive 7-0 victory over New Gener FC. The grand final took place at Deeoni Football Court and attracted numerous football fans.

Coach Biyi Adesonya led the victorious team, which was awarded a prize of N500,000. New Gener FC, the runners-up, received N300,000, while Diamond Football Club, which secured third place, walked away with N100,000.

Samuel Emmanuel from Orion and Leon Football Club was recognized as the top scorer and received N50,000. The tournament's organizer, Dr.

Bankol Allibai, expressed satisfaction with the event's outcome and optimism for future tournaments, indicating that the top three teams will represent Ikorodu in the state tournament scheduled for October. The tournament was noted for its competitive spirit and community engagement.
