Ebi Egbe Advocates for Transparency in Nigerian Football

Ebi Egbe, the CEO of Monimichel Sport, has called for a new era of transparency in Nigerian football, particularly in light of the upcoming Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) elections scheduled for September 26, 2026. Speaking after the NFF's recent extraordinary general assembly in Yenagoa, Egbe urged stakeholders to ensure that the transition reflects a positive wave of reform that is currently reshaping African football governance.

He emphasized that Nigeria cannot be exempt from this reform wave aimed at curbing corruption within the sport. Egbe, a prominent figure in African sports infrastructure, highlighted the importance of the upcoming elections producing leadership committed not only to winning trophies but also to building and sustaining integrity within the football ecosystem.

He noted that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has intensified its crackdown on administrative lapses across the continent, and the NFF must set an example in this regard.
