Oyebola Urges Tax Practitioners to Uphold Integrity

Olayinka Oyebola, a tax expert, addressed tax practitioners at the 28th Annual Tax Conference organized by the Chartered Institute of Taxation Nigeria in Abuja. He urged attendees to steer clear of sharp practices that could bring disrepute to the profession.

The conference, held on a Saturday, focused on the theme of tax reform and the global relevance of Nigeria's tax system for sustainable future development. Oyebola stressed the need for tax practitioners in the country to uphold ethical practices and integrity in their operations, aligning with global best practices.

He shared that his extensive experience has shown that Nigeria is blessed with experts capable of shaping the industry to compete with peers globally. Oyebola reiterated his firm’s commitment to standard procedures in line with international best practices and warned against misleading practices that could derail innocent practitioners.

He concluded by challenging practitioners to maintain integrity within the profession.
