Stray Bullet Kills Young Man In Kaduna

A young man was killed by a stray bullet in the Barnawa area of Kaduna, leading to tension and protests. The incident occurred when National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) personnel fired shots while chasing a suspected drug dealer, hitting an innocent passerby.

The victim, identified as Murtala, was described as a quiet and industrious youth by locals. Following the shooting, angry residents barricaded roads, set tires ablaze, and demanded justice for the victim.

The Kaduna State Police Command confirmed the incident and stated that an investigation was underway. Protesters called for the government to address the issue of innocent lives being lost during law enforcement operations.
