Super Falcons' Chinwendu Ihezuo Confident for WAFCON 2024

Chinwendu Ihezuo, a forward for the Super Falcons, has voiced her belief that Nigeria can secure another title at the 14th edition of the Women Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), which will take place in Morocco from July 26 to August 16, 2024. Ihezuo acknowledged that this tournament will be tougher than the previous one held in Morocco last year.

Despite the challenges, she is confident that the Super Falcons can harness their skills and determination to not only defend their title but also secure a ticket to the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup. She emphasized the importance of hard work and courage in achieving these goals.

Currently sidelined due to injury, Ihezuo stated that she is fully fit and ready to contribute to the team's success as they aim for their 11th AFCON title.
