Gunmen Kill Pregnant Woman in Hospital Attack

Gunmen attacked a hospital where Larai Danjuma was in labor, resulting in her death alongside a health worker and other patients. The attack occurred as Larai was being taken to the delivery room.

Josephin Chundung Piyo, the deputy governor of the state, visited the victims' families and expressed condolences. Larai was married to Mr.

Danjuma Damial and was due to give birth at the time of the attack. The family is appealing to both state and federal governments for urgent action to prevent further occurrences of such violent attacks on healthcare facilities.
