Woman recounts kidnapping ordeal after rescue in Ogun

A woman who sustained a gunshot wound during a kidnapping incident in the Ogber Forest area of Ogun State recounted her harrowing experience after being rescued. She described how armed men blocked the road, ordered them to leave their vehicle, and threatened to shoot.

During the attack, she managed to shoot back at the kidnappers while they forcibly took away her family members, including her daughter and sister. The Ogun State Police Command reported that she was among five victims rescued within 25 hours during a joint operation with the Lagos State Police.

The woman received medical attention for her gunshot injuries. The police have stated that efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining members of the kidnapping gang.
