Suspected Revenue Tout Shot Dead in Abuja Altercation

A suspected revenue tout was shot dead at Nitel Junction in Wuse 2, Abuja, during an altercation involving a convoy. Eyewitnesses reported that two alleged touts were shot during the incident, which occurred as gunfire erupted.

A video trending on social media showed a large crowd gathering around the lifeless body. Kingslei Madaki, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Public Affairs to the AMAC Chairman, confirmed that the deceased was associated with AMAC's mobile advertising consultancy.

The police have taken the body to the mortuary at Wuse, and investigations into the incident are ongoing. At the time of the report, there was no official response from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police command regarding the shooting.
