Taraba State Launches New Civil Service Recruitment Drive

The Taraba State government has commenced a new civil service recruitment exercise, as announced by Philip Kundila, the Chairman of the Taraba State Civil Service Commission. The recruitment aims to employ a total of 1,805 applicants.

This initiative follows the previous absorption of 3,187 ghost workers into the civil service. Governor Agbu Kefa directed this employment drive to provide opportunities for citizens who have been unemployed for an extended period.

Kundila warned applicants against engaging with fraudsters and emphasized that the recruitment process is free of charge, with application forms costing N3,000. He stated that no money should be given to anyone for assistance in the application process.

Successful candidates will be shortlisted for interviews. Additionally, the Chairman expressed gratitude to Governor Agbu Kefa for approving funds to renovate the Commission's secretariat, which will support the recruitment efforts.
