Retired AVM Dies Onboard British Airways, Emergency Landing in Barcelona

Retired Nigerian Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Kasim Sumaina passed away onboard a British Airways flight from London to Abuja, prompting an emergency landing in Barcelona. The terminally ill AVM was being transported back to Abuja for medical treatment but tragically died during the flight.

The airline crew tried to resuscitate him, but their efforts were in vain. British Airways apologized to passengers for the disruption and assured them of support.
