Alkali's Leadership Transforms North-East Nigeria's Future

Musa Sule Alhaji Moham Goni Alkali serves as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the North East Development Commission (NEDC). Appointed in 2019 and reappointed in 2023, he has played a crucial role in the reconstruction of Nigeria's North-East, which has suffered from insurgency and underdevelopment.

His leadership has led to the construction of 3,500 housing units across six states and the establishment of eighteen mega schools to restore education for children affected by conflict. Alkali's background includes a first-class degree in accounting from Bayero University Kano and a master's in finance from the London School of Economics, equipping him with the skills to manage complex financial systems.
