Yushau Shuaib's Memoir Exposes NIPSS Institutional Bullying

Yushau A. Shuaib, Managing Director of Image Merchants Promotion Ltd and founder of the PRNigeria Young Communication Fellowship, authored a memoir titled "MNI versus MNIPR in NIPSS: Tackling Institutional Bullying." The memoir critiques the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) for its treatment of accomplished adults, likening it to treating them as schoolchildren.

Shuaib, with over three decades of experience in crisis communication and public relations, recounts various incidents that illustrate a troubling pattern of institutional bullying. One example includes a participant being reprimanded for casually standing with a hand in his pocket.

The memoir emphasizes that participants were discouraged from using professional titles and were required to adhere to strict presentation styles. Shuaib's work is described as a meticulously assembled case file rather than a mere complaint, reflecting his extensive background in advising on institutional crises.
