Family Feud Erupts Over Demola Seriki's Estate

Following the death of Demola Seriki, who served as Nigeria's Minister of State for Defence and later as Ambassador to Spain, a conflict has arisen between his wives, Sholap Seriki and Wosilat Seriki. Sholap took to social media to accuse Wosilat of disregarding Seriki's will in an attempt to control the entire estate.

Sholap claims that property documents and assets were meant for their children. In response, Wosilat reportedly filed a court summons regarding a vehicle in Sholap's possession, demanding a public apology and a fine of N50 million for allegedly withholding their children's school fees.

The dispute escalated with allegations of physical attacks and blocking access to Seriki's grave. Femi Otedola, a billionaire and close friend of the late diplomat, was mentioned in relation to financial support for the children.

Legal experts note that such family disputes often arise in wealthy households following the death of a patriarch.
