Ningi Blames Political Leaders for Nigeria's Insecurity

In an interview with Channel Television, Ningi, the Senator representing Bauchi Central, expressed no regret in his involvement in politics while attributing the worsening insecurity in Nigeria to the negligence of political leaders. He stated that these leaders have not done enough to protect citizens and have allowed excessive political activities to distract from pressing security concerns.

Ningi emphasized the need for political leaders to acknowledge their shortcomings in safeguarding lives and properties. He warned that the current level of insecurity in several states, including Borno, Plateau, Bauchi, Benue, Niger, Sokoto, Kebbi, and Kano, may require extraordinary interventions, suggesting that political activities in these areas might need to be temporarily suspended to address the crisis effectively.
